Customer Creations
This page is dedicated to showing off the creations of my talented customers 🎀
I started sewing almost 3 years ago and I'm now completely hooked! I'm not a professional, I learnt from library books and youtube videos.
I don't consider myself to have a lot of skill but I have a lot of enthusiasm!
It doesn't matter if you are a novice sewer or a professional, I'd like to share your creations here to show other people what's possible.

John Lewis 'Fruit Tree' fabric

This very pretty floral fabric was for sale on my Instagram page earlier in the year. There is a linen version of the fabric and a velvet, you can see them both in this snapshot from the original Instagram post.
Kim from Kimpallattsoftfurnishingclasses.com snapped up the linen version and made these really pretty cushions.

I really like the striped contrasting fabric that she's used on the reverse, as piping on one cushion and as a ruffle edge on the other. Stripes and florals work really well together, I think it's a great combination.
Kim has been making curtains, blinds and soft furnishings for over 30 years and is now teaching others to do the same. If you're interested in learning how to make your own soft furnishings, Kim has classes ranging from making a box pleated lampshade cover, to making curtains and blinds.
She's based near Bury St Edmunds in Suffolk.

Great to see my fabrics being used by professionals as well as for personal use!

I think Heike's done a great job of this stocking, it's so Christmassy 🎄🎅🏼

This is Carnavalet a vintage fabric made by Travers. I had this in two colourways earlier in the year; Green and Yellow. One of my regular customers bought the Green to make curtains for her bedroom.

I have quite an obsession with Trimmings and when the owner of @cushionscove bought several trims from me I was looking forward to seeing what she did with them.

One of her luxury cushion creations

Blue velvet💙 and how fabulous does that tassel fringe look!

Another customer running her own cushion business is Faith from @joaquiminteriors
She sent me a photo when she was planning how to use the fabric and trim she'd bought from me

Then later, the finished cushions

God I love Pom Pom Trim ! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Mink, from @white_rabbit_living has been renovating her period home and bought a vintage fabric from me that has quite a cachet. I've written about the fabric 'Castle Ashby Border' by Bernard Nevill in more detail in the blog post :
An unusual and rare fabric, it's well suited to her period property and decorating style.
She posted a reel on Instagram about finding the fabric on my site, and how she planned her curtain project.

Et Voila! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Having recently moved home, another customer needed some fabric for curtains, and fell in love with an embroidered John Lewis fabric remnant that I had advertised on Instagram

This is 'Trellis' in the Putty colourway, it's heavily embroidered and very beautiful.

Sally's finished curtains, perfectly colour matched to her beams! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
